Every year, applications are rigorously reviewed by the ARRL Foundation Scholarship Committee.  More than 80 qualified students are selected to receive an award between $500 and $5,000.  The recipients encompass the outstanding characteristics we are proud to see in young people, including strong academic performance, dedicated community service and active Amateur Radio involvement. 

The most prestigious award is the 4-year William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship, which provides the recipient pay the costs of education not covered by the Estimated Family Contribution (per the FAFSA report) or other scholarships and awards.  Please note:  The William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship will not be awarded in 2019.
