In addition to local VHF contacts, the club will be looking for HF contacts throughout the day to allow the boys to experience long range radio contacts. Only one HF radio will be in use so contact will be on 20, 40, or 15 meters, depending on conditions. Operations will be on and off through the day as they take turns on the radio. Get on the air to help these young men experience the magic of radio!

The radio operators will be operating from the Historic Republic Airfield. Home of many of the aircrafts that were used to help support our troops and defend freedom. Please feel free to come down and visit the radio operators and this piece of history. The Airpower Museum is located on New Highway in Farmingdale, NY Home of Rosie the riveter The station is located right under a Tuskegee fighter plane You my even hear some prop noise when you contact us there all the planes do fly. This Special event station is to honor all branches of the armed forces on armed forces day every year for past 25 years.
