Progress toward WRTC-95

The administrators of the World Radiosport Team Championship-1995
report progress in organizing the event and solicit questions and
comments.

WRTC-95 will be held July 8 and 9, 1995, in Washington, DC, in
conjunction with the IARU HF World Championship. The Frankford
Radio Club has joined the Potomac Valley Radio Club in coordinating
applications for operators/participants.

Many other Washington/Baltimore Amateur Radio clubs also will help
with the arrangements and logistics for WRTC-95. Capitol College in
Laurel, Maryland, will open a portion of their on-campus dormitory
facilities to house some of the participants from overseas.

Applications for Washington-area host stations are now being
accepted and evaluated. Operator/participant applications will be
available soon and may be requested by writing to WRTC-95
Administration, in care of Hayman Systems, 14700 Sweitzer Lane,
Laurel, MD 20707 (fax 301-470-1580).

Commercial businesses interested in participating as sponsors of
WRTC-95 should contact Brian Skutt, ND3F, 3421 Blackberry Lane,
Ellicott City, MD 21042 (tel 410-531-6596).

Questions and comments may be directed to Publicity Chairman Bill
Hider, N3RR, 10241 Lakewood Drive, Rockville, MD 20850; or to
WRTC-95 Co-Chairmen Eric Scace, K3NA, 10701 Five Forks Road,
Frederick, MD 21702; or Howard Leake, W6AXX, 4744 Gawain Drive,
Ellicott City, MD 21043.
