Flux values averaged 11 points lower than the previous week, but the most significant number was the zero visible sunspots for the past 4 days. The most unsettled geomagnetic activity was on April 23, when the A index was 23. Solar flux is rising again, and should peak in the nineties around May 12 through 19. Disturbed conditions are forecast around May 4 and 20, with a very stable period between May 11 to 15. Sunspot Numbers for April 20 through 26 were 36, 19, 14, 0, 0, 0 and 0, with a mean of 9.9. 10.7 cm flux was 86.4, 84.7, 83.9, 76.7, 72.5, 70.4 and 69.3, with a mean of 77.7. The path projection for this week is to Andaman Island in the Indian Ocean from Portland, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Dallas, Texas. >From Portland, check 40 meters around 1200 to 1330z, and 30 meters from 1230 to 1500. 20 meters should be good most days from 1700 to 1830. >From Pittsburgh on many days 20 meters should be good from 0000 to 0130z. >From Dallas check 20 meters from 1300 to 1600z.
