This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
Tedd, KB8NW, the OPDX Bulletin, The 599Rpt, The Daily DX, DXNL,
425DXnews and Contest Corral from QST. Thanks to all.
UNITED NATIONS HQ, 4U1UN. Don, K2KQ, and Piero, IK2BHX, are QRV
from 4U1UN. Activity has been on 160 and 80 meters and the newer
bands. They have also been active using RTTY. QSL via W6TER.
NIGERIA, 5N. David, 5N0/OK1AUT, has been QRV on 160 meters around
2330z. QSL to home call.
BOLIVIA, CP. Claus, DJ8UG, is active mainly on CW and Pactor as
CP4BT from Uyuni. QSL via DL9OT.
GUADELOUPE, FG. Didier, F5NZO, and Eric, F5SSM, are QRV as
FG/homecalls until January 1. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters SSB
and RTTY, and possibly on RS-12. QSL to home calls.
AUSTRAL ISLANDS, FO. Einar, LA1EE, is currently active on Tubuai
Island in the Austral group as FO0EEN. He will be here until
December 30. Activity is centered around 80 and 40 meters. QSL to
home call.
CROZET ISLAND, FT5W. Look for Gilles, F5AGL, to soon be QRV as
FT5WH. His length of stay is unknown. QSL via F6KDF.
FERNANDO DE NORONHA, PY0. Iwao, PY8IT, is QRV as PY0FT until
December 28. Activity is mainly on 40 to 12 meters. He may also
try 10 and 6 meters, conditions permitting. SSTV operation is also
expected. QSL via JA1ELY.
BANGLADESH, S2. Bob, G3REP. is QRV as S21YP until January 31.
Emphasis is on 160 meters. QSL via operator's instructions.
FALKLAND ISLANDS, VP8. Look for Jan, K4QD, to be QRV as VP8CRB from
December 26 to January 16. Activity on 160 to 10 meters, including
the newer bands, is expected. On RTTY, look for him to use the
callsign VP8TTY. QSL to home call.
CHAGOS ISLANDS, VQ9. Dale, W4QM, is active as VQ9QM. His activity
is mainly CW. He has been QRV on 80 meters between 2100 and 0000z
and on 12 meters between 1330 and 1600z. Check 30 meters between
1800 and 2000z. His length of stay is unknown. QSL to home call.
SYRIA, YK. Omar, YK1AO, is now active on 160 meters. He has been
QRV on 1826 kHz around 2030z and 0315z. When not on 160 meters,
check 40 meters between 0345 and 0500z. He is also active on RTTY.
TOKELAU ISLANDS, ZK3. Ron, ZL1AMO, is QRV as ZK3RW. Activity so
far has been on 15 meters CW and then 10 meters CW. QSL to home
call.
