This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
DL3KWF, NC1L, QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The
Daily DX, Contest Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and
WA7BNM web sites.  Thanks to all.

MADAGASCAR, 5R.  Willi, DJ7RJ is QRV as 5R8RJ until October 27.
Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.  QSL to home call.

ANGOLA, D2.  Vladimir, UA4WHX is QRV as D20VB and has been active on
80 meters using CW around 2330z and 40 meters using CW around 0400z.
QSL to home call.
 
BALEARIC ISLANDS, EA6.  Tom, DK3DUA will be QRV as EA6/DK3DUA from
Mallorca, IOTA EU-004, from October 15 to 22.  Activity will be on
80 to 10 meters using CW.  QSL to home call.  Helmut, DL5DSM will
also be QRV from here as EA6/homecall from October 16 to 24.  He
will concentrate his activity on 160 and 80 meters using CW.  QSL to
home call.

SOUTH KOREA, HL.  Operators Han, DS2GOO, Son, DS3HWS, Lee, 6K2CEW
and possibly a few others are QRV as homecalls/4 and D90HE/4 from
Hong Island, IOTA AS-093, until October 15.  They are active on 80
to 10 meters using mostly SSB.  They will also try using digital
modes as well.  QSL D90HE/4 via DS2GOO and all others to home calls.

SARDINIA, IS0.  Raf, IH9YMC, currently resides on Pantelleria
Island, IOTA AF-018, and plans to be active on the bands until
January 31.  He has also been active on 160 meters.  QSL to home
call.

DJIBOUTI, J2.  Jean, J28JA has been QRV on 20 meters around 1600z.
QSL via F5JFU.

ARGENTINA, LU.  A team of operators will be QRV as LU4AAO/D from
Claromeco Lighthouse, ARLHS ARG-014, on October 14 and 15.  Activity
will be on all HF bands using CW and SSB.  QSL only via LU4AAO.

NETHERLANDS, PA.  Holger, PA/DH1AD is QRV from Texel island, IOTA
EU-038, until October 19, operating holiday style.  QSL via bureau.

BONAIRE, CURACAO, PJ2.  Peter, PJ4/PA3CNX is QRV from Bonaire, IOTA
SA-006, until November 3.  Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using CW
and SSB.  He will also be active in the upcoming CQ WW contest.  QSL
to home call.

SUDAN, ST.  Nader, HZ1NH is QRV as ST2NH.  He is active on various
satellites.  His length of stay is unknown. QSL via EA7FTR.
Meanwhile, ST2A has been QRV on 20 meters around 1530z using RTTY
and 40 meters around 0400z using CW.  QSL via T93Y.
           
MOUNT ATHOS, SV/A.  Monk Apollo, SV2ASP has been QRV on 30 meters
around 0810z and 20 meters around 0600 to 0700z.

INDIA, VU.  Special event station AT6MYL will be QRV from October 15
to 29 during the World Wide YL Meeting in Mumbai.  QSL direct via
VU2SWS.

KERMADEC ISLANDS, ZL8.  Members of the Microlite Penguins DXpedition
team are QRV as ZL8R from Raoul Island, IOTA OC-039.  Activity is on
all HF bands, including V/UHF bands using all modes.  QSL via VE3XN.

SOUTH AFRICA, ZS.  Special event station ZS90DW is QRV until the end
of December 2006 in celebration of the South African assistance
offered to allied forces during World War I in the battle of
Delville Wood.  Activity is on 20 and 15 meters using SSB.  QSL via
ZS4SM.

OPERATIONS APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operations are
approved for DXCC credit:  Democratic Republic of the Congo, 9Q1D,
9Q1TB, 9Q1EK, current operations beginning September 22, 2006.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The ARRL EME 50 to 1296 MHz Contest,
Makrothen RTTY Contest, Microwave Fall Sprint, Oceania DX CW
Contest, EU Autumn CW Sprint, Pennsylvania QSO Party, FISTS Fall CW
Sprint, Asia-Pacific Fall CW Sprint, Bill Windle CW QSO Party, North
American RTTY Sprint and the UBA ON 2-meter SSB Contest will
certainly keep contesters busy this weekend.  The Run for the Bacon
QRP CW Contest and RSGB 21/28 MHz CW Contest are scheduled for
October 16.  Please see October QST, pages 101 and 102 and the ARRL
and WA7BNM contest websites for details.
