CYPRUS, 5B. The 1999 P3A Team will be active in the CQ WW WPX
Contest. A special colorful award will be issued for contacts made
during the contest period. QSL per operator's instructions.
SINGAPORE, 9V. Steve, K9WO, is now licensed as 9V1DX. QSL via
KA9UQT.
CHINA, BY. Special Event Station BT99WED will be QRV June 1 to 30
to celebrate World Environment Day. Activity is expected on several
bands and modes. QSL per operator's instructions.
EASTER ISLAND, CE0. Henry, XQ0YAF, can often be found on either
28010 or 21010 khz around 2300z.
MOROCCO, CN. Ben, DL6FBL, will be QRV as CN8WW as a Single Op entry
in the CQ WW WPX Contest. He will also be QRV before and after the
contest on all bands and modes. QSL to home call.
GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, HC8. Dave, KM3T, Trey, N5KO and Jon, N0JK, will
be QRV as HC8N as a Multi/Multi entry in the CQ WW WPX Contest. QSL
via AA5BT.
AUSTRIA, OE. Jun, JH4RHF, will be QRV in the CQ WW WPX Contest from
the Vienna International ARC station, 4U1VIC. QSL via OE bureau.
ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. K7BV and others will be QRV as OH0/K7BV from
the QTH of OH0Z from May 28 to June 4. They will sign OH0Z for the
CQ WW WPX Contest. QSL OH0/K7BV via KU9C and OH0Z via OH1EH.
RUSSIA, R. Look for Special Event Station, R200AP, to be active on
all bands and modes from June 5 to 7 to commemorate the 200th
anniversary of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. QSL via
RA1WZ
MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7. Tom, K7ZZ, is QRV on all bands as V73ZZ from
Kwajalein, IOTA OC-028, until June 2. This includes an entry in the
CQ WW WPX Contest. QSL to home call.
VIETNAM, 3W. Rolf, SM5MX, will be QRV as XV7SW until June 5. He
will also be QRV in the CQ WW WPX Contest. QSL via SM3CXS.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The CQ WW WPX CW Contest, and the ARCI
QRP Hoot Owl and Memorial Day CW Sprints are all scheduled for this
