This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
NC1L, QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The Daily DX,
Contest Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web
sites.  Thanks to all.

GUINEA, 3X.  Michael, PA5M is QRV as 3XY5M while on work assignment
for the UN World Food Programme.  Activity is on 160 to 6 meters
during his spare time.  QSL direct via PA7FM.

BURUNDI, 9U.  Vlad, UA4WHX is QRV as 9U0VB.  Activity is on 30 to 10
meters using CW and SSB.  His length of stay is unknown.  QSL direct
to home call.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, A6.  Ghis is QRV as A61NT and has been active
on 17 meters around 1600z.  QSL via ON5NT.

ANDORRA, C3.  Peter is QRV as C31LJ and has been active on 20 meters
around 1500z.  QSL via VE3EXY.
               
NORTH COOK ISLANDS, E5.  Mike, KM9D and Jan, KF4TUG are QRV as
E51QMA and E51TUG, respectively, from Suwarrow, IOTA OC-080, until
May 21.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters.  QSL via OM2SA.

HAITI, HH.  Yannick, F6FYD is QRV as HH2FYD while on work assignment
here.  He is active in his spare time.  QSL to home call.

FRANZ JOSEF LAND, R1FJ.  Jack is QRV as R1FJT and has been active on
30, 20 and 17 meters using RTTY at various times.  QSL via UA4RC.

POLAND, SP.  Special event station HF750C is QRV until June 30 to
mark the 750 years of Krakow.  QSL via SP9BRP.

GREECE, SV.  Special event station SX2SB will be QRV on May 19 and
20 to commemorate the soldiers lost in the Battle of Skra during the
first World War.  Activity is on all HF bands using CW, SSB, RTTY
and PSK31.  QSL via SV7CUD or SV1EOS.

MOUNT ATHOS, SV/A.  Monk Apollo, SV2ASP/A has been active on 20
meters using CW.  QSL direct.

MICRONESIA, V6.  JA7HMZ, JA7AGO and JA7ZP will be QRV as V63DX,
V63GO and V63ZP, respectively, from Pohnpei, IOTA OC-010, from May
21 to 26.  Activity will be on all bands and modes.  QSL direct to
home calls.

MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7.  Randy, V73RY is QRV using RTTY, PSK31 and
other digital modes.

ANGUILLA, VP2E.  Dave, KJ9I and Rudy, NF9V are QRV as VP2EDS and
VP2ERV, respectively, until May 21.  Activity is on all HF bands,
including 2 meter EME using WSJT.  QSL to home calls.

CHAGOS ISLAND, VQ9.  Jim, ND9M will be QRV with special call sign
VQ97JC from May 23 to June 5.  He will be active as much as possible
while on work assignment here.  He plans to be an entry in the
upcoming CQ WPX contest.  QSL to home call.

INDONESIA, YB.  Hans, PA0HOP is QRV as YB9AQW and YB9/PA0HOP from
Bali, IOTA OC-022, until June 20.  He is active using RTTY, PSK31,
Feld-Hell and Olivia.  QSL these two callsigns for this operation
only via PA0HOP.

OPERATION APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is
approved for DXCC credit: Scarborough Reef, BS7H, 2007 operation.

PREFIX UPDATE.  The International Telecommunications Union, ITU, now
lists the 4O prefix as belonging to Montenegro, and includes call
areas 0 through 9.  Serbia will continue to use the YT and YU
prefixes, and includes call areas 0 through 9.  The 4N and YZ
prefixes have been given back to the ITU for future use by another
nation.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  His Majesty King of Spain CW Contest,
NCCC Sprint CW Ladder, MARAC SSB QSO Party, EU PSK DX Contest, US
Counties QSO Party, Manchester Mineira All America CW Contest, EU
EME Contest and the 40th Annual Baltic Contest are all scheduled for
this weekend.  The Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest is scheduled for
May 21.  Please see May QST, page 97, and the ARRL and WA7BNM
contest web sites for details.
