This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
Tedd, KB8NW, the OPDX Bulletin, Akio, JA3JM, Alan, NS0B, Tosy,
JA6VZB, the Yankee Clipper Contest Club PacketCluster network and
the Contest Corral column from the pages of QST magazine.  Thanks to
all.
 
UGANDA.  Paul, 5Z4FO, aka W4PFM, OA8V and KP4AWH, will be relocating
to Uganda for a one year work assignment starting in July.  He will
be active signing 5X1MW on all bands.  Listen for his CW and SSB.

NORTH PACIFIC DX VACATION.  JA3JM's schedule has changed from what
was publicized in last week's bulletin.  Akio, who is presently
signing AA5K/AH2 in Guam, will stop in Palau on his way to Saipan.
He plans to operate KC6AS from February 17 to 20, and AA5K/AH0 on
February 20 and 21, with emphasis on RTTY, 160 meters, mode K on RS
12 and mode B on OSCAR.  QSL via JA3JM.
 
MACAO.  Leo, K8PYD, is now on as XX9TYD and was heard on 14033 and
7004 kHz around 1200 and 0030z respectively.  QSL via K8PYD.
 
VANUATU.  YJ0AXC has been on either 40 or 80 meters most mornings
from 1100 to 1300z.
 
MICRONESIA AND BELAU.  JA2NQG will be signing V63WW from Pohnpei
February 17 to 23, including contest operations.  From February 24
to March 1 he will sign KC6CW or KC6WW.  QSL via JA2NQG.
 
BELIZE.  Alan, NS0B, and John, WC0W, will be in on the contest
action as V31TP, unless a special call can be secured.  They return
home on February 20.
 
TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS.  Ken, K0PP, will be active from February
16 to 23, including the ARRL DX Contest.  The contest call will be
VP5PP.  Outside contest hours, listen for VP5/K0PP.  QSL via K0PP.
 
DOMINICA.  Lou, WA6SBS, and George, N6ZS, will be in the ARRL CW
Contest, possibly using the call J75A.  Outside contest hours they
will be on all bands with CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL via N6ZS.
 
ANGUILLA.  Dave, WJ2O, plans to be in the ARRL DX CW Contest from
the QTH of VP2EHF and VP2EE and sign VP2E/WJ2O.  Listen for him on
1818 kHz at 0600z both days of the test.
 
MONTSERRAT.  Art, WA2UJH, received the call sign VP2MDY and will
operate through February 26.  He plans to operate mostly CW on 40,
use 80 and 160 meters including activity on the WARC bands.  QSL via
NW8F.
 
GUATEMALA.  Scott, KA9FOX, be in the ARRL DX SSB Contest and hopes
to operate TG9GI as TG0AA.  He will try to be on before and after
the contest from the QTH of TG9AJR.  QSL via KA9FOX.
 
BARBADOS.  Peter, W0SA, will sign 8P9NX on CW and RTTY from February
19 to March 2 . He will be active on CW and RTTY.  QSL via W0SA.
Dan, N8DCJ, will be on as 8P9CW February 18 to 25.  Dan favors CW
and will be on 160 through 10 meters.  QSL via WB8LFO.
 
BAHAMAS.  Larry, K3TLX, received the call sign C6AHE for his Bahama
operations.  He should remain active through February 21.  QSL via
K3TLX.
 
SWEDEN.  The new prefix SH is being issued to Novices.  SH-licensees
have HF, as well as VHF/UHF privileges.
 
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The big event for this weekend is the
ARRL International DX Contest on CW.  See pages 122 and 124 of
December QST for full contest rules.
 
Other operating events include the YL ISSB and Winter QSO Parties.
