The ARRL Committee of Tellers for the election of directors and vice
directors met at ARRL Headquarters November 20 to count ballots.
Here are the results. In each case, the candidate receiving the
greatest number of votes was declared elected. Terms begin at noon
on January 1, 1999.

Central Division, for a two-year term as director:

Edmond A. Metzger, W9PRN       1846
Henry B. Ruh, KB9FO            1468
R. David Klatzco Jr, N9TQA     1297

Metzger was declared elected.

Central Division, for a two-year term as vice director:

Howard S. Huntington, K9KM     2748
Mike Hoshiko, W9CJW            1849

Huntington was declared elected.

New England Division, for a two-year term as vice director:

Michael Raisbeck, K1TWF        2469
Andrea T. Parker, K1WLX        1463

Raisbeck was declared elected.

Northwestern Division, for a two-year term as vice director:

Greg Milnes, W7AGQ             2930
Mary E. Lewis, W7QGP           1609

Milnes was declared elected.

Rocky Mountain Division, for a three-year term as vice director:

Marvin C. Zitting, W7MR         816

Quiat was declared elected.

West Gulf Division, for a three-year term as director:

Lawrence S. Higgins, W5UQ      1602

Haynie was declared elected.

West Gulf Division, for a three-year term as vice director:

Day was declared elected.
