Not so good propagation on 10m but work a lot of HQ stations.
Also made more than hundred QSO's with OJ (WRTC teams).
Thanks so much to everyone who call me during this contest.

Although propagation was not great in the Lone Star State, we still had a great contest. The 3rd Rock Rover Team (3RRT) of Dan, W5DF and John, AB5SS would like to thank the North Texas Microwave Society operators (Al, W5LUA; Greg, AA5C; and Dave, WW2R)... Read More

The theme for the W7DX Field Day this year was to maximize the QSOs-to-Hassle ratio and I believe we succeeded. We simplified the antenna complement and relied on the salt-water ground plane to do its work. Our chosen configuration is 2A - with GOTA ... Read More

This 10M contest in 2001 was a first for me.
In my 33 years licensed, all my contesting activity had been with
groups, never alone, so I never really had a guage on how I was
progressing or how I would stack up against others.
Thanks to W3PP, I was abl... Read More -

Congrats to K1KI for setting the SOHPCW record! 2001 was clearly the peak of Cycle 23 conditions for the ARRL 10 and I'm sure Tom's record will stand until Cycle 24 peaks around 2010. I'll be back with a single-band SO2R setup and try again then! Read More
