YCRA is a support club providing technical support and services pertaining to communications for Yakima emergency management, the Sheriff’s office, and ARES® in and around Yakima County, WA. The club assists with the operation and maintenance of 7 repeaters under the WA7SAR call sign, and assists with others in the area. We offer occasional amateur classes and test sessions. We also maintain Amateur stations at the Yakima Search and Rescue office, W7RCC, the Yakima Mobile command post, WA7MCP, and The Yakima Valley office of Emergency Management, WA7EOC. YCRA manages the callsigns for all the above.
