The Irving Amateur Radio Club holds a monthly meeting at Senter Park East, in Irving, Texas on the fourth Thursday of the month, except for November and December, when we meet on the third Thursday of the month, to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.
On the first Saturday of March we host an indoor Hamfest that attracts nearly 400 area Hams to consider the treasures on display on the aproximate 70 vendor tables inside the Betcha Bingo Hall in Irving Texas. Doors open at 8:00 AM, and there are hourly drawings for door prizes starting at 9:00 AM, with the grand prize drawing at 1:00 PM.
We usually particiapte in some capacity in both the Winter Field Day and ARRL Field Day, either on our own or in partnership with other area clubs.
