I had a lot of fun making 12 SKN contacts, all on 40 meters. I used an antique strap key that was made by the School of Engineering at the University of Michigan, probably between 1910 and 1920. It has both make and break contacts and makes a wonderf... Read More

I made seven contacts total in this year's SKN--five on New Year's Eve and two on New Year's Day. Thanks to all who put up with my fist. I would have made more, but my wrist gave out. :)

Well, I did it! I worked Straight Key Night for the first time ever. I used a 1956 Vibroplex Presentation and it was a lot of fun.
