Well, I was going to comment about the terrible conditions, but after reading other's comments, I guess being in Nebraska paid off.  There is an old saying..."I felt bad because I had no shoes until I met a man with no feet."  Propagation apparently removed a lot of feet this year!  I'm new to the high-power category and was shocked to see (in the claimed scores report) that 84K points was good enough for third place in the Single-op, mixed, high power category.  Amazing.  Just 289 contacts, 77 mults (including 68 states/provinces and 9 mostly SA DX.)  Only missed 9 states. Never had any decent runs.  Anyone who stuck it out for the entire contest deserves an award for this year's contest!  What dedication!  Still, lots of fun.  Thanks to all!
