07/12/2006 | WP3GW Bad thing: had to work, but got out at 4pm and started 2100 UTC after checking out the NEW antenna the MA5B which I bought myself as a birthday present.



On the bands: 10 was silent, 15 had something but the main action was on 20! And late evening 40 and yes propagation was so-so. Could work Europe with no problem and the US/Central America/Caribbean stations.



The funny and incredible thing was that at 1045 UTC, woke up and heard the PT and PW stations all around 20 meters! So it was my chance to work the most of the WRTC contest stations. . . and did 37, not bad at all! Oh and I beated my score of last year. . . so the antenna did it's job. Cheers - Angel -- WP3GW
