07/24/2006 | KH6RS The Maui Amateur radio club held it's 2006 Field Day exercise at beautiful Hookipa on the North Shore of Maui, in the Hawaiian Islands. We operated with one transmitter on 20 and 15 meters using a triband yagi and a dipole on 40 meters. We ran two generators to power a Kenwood TS-440 and an Ameritron amplifier. We made 923 QSOs comprised of SSB and CW contacts with a number of operators from our field day site. Thanks for all for the contacts and fun. -- N0DQD
