07/10/2006 | W0ERH The Johnson County Radio Amateur Club held its Field Day Exercise at Heritage Park in Olathe Kansas. The 75 ft. tower (supplied by the Johnson County Sheriffs Department) held up the center point of phone station antenna. A strong rainstorm required us to shutdown operations for approximately three hours. However, via some help from some very dedicated club members, we beat our previous Field Day records. We all had a wonderful time with great fellowship and food. -- KC0QBU
