07/09/2006 | N8SL South Lyon Area ARC participated in the 2006 Field Day event. Our field day site was the Lyon Twp. Park in New Hudson, MI just 4 miles north of South Lyon, MI. We had 11 amateurs participating and 4 visitors. We erected the tower, rotor, beam, and flag on Friday evening. We changed our normal operation from 2A to 3A this year. Three stations - Phone, CW, Phone/CW/Digital, and the free VHF-UHF station.

We all had a great time during the installation, operating, and takedown. We can't wait until next year. 73 and Best Wishes from N8SL. -- KC8IDF
