WD9EWK
This was my sixth consecutive Field Day effort in the field, and this year I went back to the 1B-1 Op-Battery classification that I used in 2001-2004. I worked HF with my father-in-law's mobile station, but was able to use WD9EWK on the AO-51 and SO-50 satellites from a Forest Service campground in Pinedale, Arizona (west of Show Low in Navajo County, grid DM44vg). I made contacts on AO-51 - both the normal and QRP FM repeaters - and SO-50 with an IC-W32A HT and Arrow Antennas 2m/70cm handheld Yagi. Lots of activity on AO-51, but not so busy on SO-50 when I made my contacts. Fun!
73!
