07/04/2006 | KC5NWV HOT TIME AT THE 2006 FIELD DAY!
Weather was HOT and so were the guys working the
radio at the Durant Amateur Repeater Association 2006
Field Day. The DARA is continuing to increase in membership
and public service functions. The group is waiting on the new
HF and VHF equipment to so we can install it in the Durant/Bryan
County EOC, along with new antennas and tower for the roof.
DARA is working closely with the OEM on classes for the "First
Responders" in the city and county.
