06/29/2006 | K4GSO The Silver Springs Radio Club in Ocala, Florida held this years Field Day at the Marion County government complex. Also involved in the activities were Marion County Emergency Management, the Marion Emergency Communications Team, And The Marion County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.
The good exchange of ideas, contacts on every band from 80 meters to 2m/70cm satellite, and introducing newly licensed hams to the world of HF made for a successful and enjoyable Field Day in spite of the poor weather conditions. -- WD4LST
