06/27/2006 | WR4RC I participated with the Russell County (VA) Amateur Radio Club. Our club operated at 2755 ft. elevation on Horton Ridge in the northern section of the county. The club had six stations on the air which included six meters and an APRS station. Great crowd this year and really good fellowship.
One of our guests included ARRL Virginia Assistant Section Manager Bernie Leonard, W4LGY. I can't wait until next year!!!! -- KE4LLW
