06/27/2006 | N5EOC The Northeast Tarrant Amateur Radio Club, NETARC, operated field events from the Gazebo in Southlake, Texas, in view of City Hall. Two members of the city council visited, and 8 visitors signed up to take the next Technician class the club will hold this September. The beam antennas were supported by a boom lift outside the Gazebo that helped draw visitors in from the local shopping. Several members worked HF for the first time. -- KD5UJL
