06/27/2006 | VE3SWA Another FB FD for the Cambridge ARC, weather and insects cooperated fully at our regular FD Site at the Valens Conservation Park Wilderness Area. 5 stations running with 4 on phone and the other on CW all bands. Had a few visitors resulting from our press release which the local paper included in two editions. Our Bar B Q supper of Hamburgers and Sausages with salads etc went down very well on Saturday evening as did our annual Bacon and Eggs breakfast. Our 4KW generator ran perfectly as usual supplying all 5 stations without a hitch.I include the photo here because I forgot to include it with other mailed in documentation.
