06/27/2006 | K5EOK The EARS(Edmond Amateur Radio Society)crew chose a great public park in their central OK town to go do FD 2006 in festive style. This League club affiliated since 1957 remains active in storm spotting, warning siren monitoring, and many town parades and events. They really enjoyed a wonderful FD barbecue Saturday evening dinner.

This Special Service Club was visited by state and local elected officials, the media as well as League field staff. Many thanks to Wendy-W1DY and Sam-W5CU for their FD event coordination and communication.
