06/26/2006 | WC8OH The West Central Ohio ARA held FD again this year at the Wright State University Picnic Shelter.We used WC8OH,which is the callsign on the 145.11 Rptr.We ran 3Alpha,mostly on 2/6/10/15/20&40Mtrs.We didn't make a lot of QSO's.But the learning experience is unmeasurable.We had 23 attendees this year,down from last year,but think everyone there enjoyed the fun,fellowship,and of course the great food!We did have one public official stop by,one of the Wright State University Police Officers,showed her around,and gave her one of the Hello!pamphlets to take,maybe a new ham in the making?
