2006 ARRL June VHF Contest

06/17/2006 | KC0DEB The 6M band was hopping! Because of the opening(s) the
previous days, I decided to see if I could tune my HF wire dipole to the "Magic Band". It worked, and I had a blast!
Between the "Family Duties" I worked mostly FN Grids on Saturday, and (in a slower pace) DM Grids on Sunday.
Total: 62 QSO's, 36 different Grids, 18 States & 3 Provinces.
It seemd to me; after I plotted all the QSO/Grids on a map; that the propagation moved from the N/E corner to the S/W corner of the country during the contest.
I only made a few contacts that were more or less North from my
location. (EM29)
It sure was "Magic" on 6M ! Thanks to the Op's that took the time to
pick me out of the noise!
