06/15/2006 | WA1RKS Well it was a rip snortin! qso frenzied,speed task operating supreme! Nice when the band opens on 6. The sad part is got the first few hours in the first day,and the "honey-do list took over,and "Yard Chores" backed up from weeks of rain,took priority. It was hard working out there looking up at the antennas knowing the band was wide open and in a feeding frenzie just waiting for me to get off the mower and get back in there. But like lots of things in life duty calls. Did get back in there Sunday after the xyl finished with her Mars net, worked a few more, but band was not as gud as day before. So hopefully next test comming, we'll do better on time! glad to see everyone had a gud time. specially the newbies,young and old alike, welcome to the magic band! 73 Gud dx de Ellis. -- WA1RKS
