06/13/2006 | WB5KIA Hamfest and long periods of zero E-skip cut into the QSO Party; nevertheless managed 75 grids on 6 meters. Amazing what magic occurs on 6 even with low power and simple antennas. Unfortunate that the Saturday morning opening from Texas to the Mideast and New England did not last into the contest.
