06/12/2006 | XE2K I really enjoy the 6m openings. This time June was FUN , great openings from my grid DM22 to the East and Caribean. I got 3 New ones one week before the contest CO2OJ,HI3TEJ, HI8ROX and FM5JC made my month!! Few years without the chance to add a new DXCC in 6m.
I just got 180 Q's during the contest. I was specting more than 300 Q's because the experience of the first weekend of June, what was very Busy, but nothing is written in 6m and the good thing was that I improved my 2005 Score(almost double)
using Radio's 100w and 7 ele Yagi @145ft , 7 ele Quad @60ft, 1/2 W. Omni @ 110ft and 4 ele Quad Vert. Pol @ 60ft switching different antennas made the diference between qso and dead band.
