06/12/2006 | WB1EDI I decided to play in the VHF contest off and on but i found the conditions unlike anything that i have ever seen. i worked 52 grids from FN42 including EN35 and EN37 on 2 meters. never did get anyone on 440 but spent most time on 6 and a bit on 2. used omni vertical antennas including a discone for 2 meter. sure wish i had gotten the 2 quad and 440 quagi up before. next time.
