06/12/2006 | W4AMP Great sporadic-e opening on six Saturday. Heard VP9GE here in EM74 all day! Brief six opening on Sunday. Home-brew dual band cubical quad and horizontal loops for 144 and 432, verticals for 50 and 222. Yaesu FT897 , Icom 208H and 37A were rigs used. Would like to see a qrp category next year.Thank you to the Alabama and Georgia stations who took the time to dig out my weak 700' asl signal out of the noise. Had a blast, see everyone next year. : )
