02/23/2006 | SP1NY It was a first performance test of my all new antenna system on "real battle field". Contest was great and I had a lot of fun especially sunday afternoon when I was able to rise some pile-up's calling CQ on 20 meters. Conditions on 15 meters were poor here and 10 meters was dead. Anyway operating on 40,20 and 80 meters as well, was a pleasure thanks to a lot of activity from W/VE stations.
Participated in SOAB HP Assisted but without 160 m where still don't have antenna and achieved 1091 QSO's and 161 sections.
My requipment: FT1000MP, home brew PA 500 W, 7el tribander for 20/15/10
2el beam for 40 and Inv V for 80 (no receiving antennas).
