02/20/2006 | WY3X I didn't plan on making more than a dozen or so contacts during the weekend, but 300+ QSO's later I finally stopped. This was my first time participating in this contest and it was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who strained to hear me with less than 100 watts and my hidden G5RV in the backyard.

I had most of my success on 20 and 40 meters. 15 meters really tried, and was open to EU in the morning. It was nice seeing 10 meters open for a little while on Sunday. I was able to work 4 stations on 5 bands because of 10 meters opening up.
