01/10/2006 | KD1E Boy was that fun. I didn't get much operating time but sure enjoyed the time I had. I was quite surprised at the level of participation. Also surprising was the quality of many of the fists. If I didn't know better I'd swear many were cheating and using keyers :-). My shack is in the basement and in VT in Jan, that's a cold place to be. 58.5 Degrees of cold to be exact! My TenTec Omni V worked FB and the Nye Master Key is a joy to use - it is so quiet. The only thing that would be better would be a repeat in July when the basement would be a comfortable 70 degrees and I wouldn't need a coat!!
