It was great to hear some activity in the Novice segments on 80 and 40m.

I only made one short contact (with a Hawaiian in Texas, of all places), but was surprised at how busy the bands were with SKN operators. However, it was disappointing to hear how rushed many of the QSOs were. What was the hurry? Perhaps they missed the point of SKN.
