01/05/2006 | KC9BSP It is nice to celebrate the new year with friends as the clock ticks down to midnight. But to celebrate it also with amateur radio friends makes it even so much more special. This was my second year participating in SKN. The gaiety and celebration of the evening makes this event so very special. I can see us all in party hats as we puntuate the airways with CW! I used a NYE, Speed-X key with rectangular base along with my Ten-Tec Argonaut 516. Then, switched rigs to my Heathkit HR 1680 and HX 1681. Thanks to all for making the evening special.
