01/03/2006 | W1TS Glad to have participated in another of a long string of SKNs. I look forward to this activity each New Year's Eve as the XYL and I prefer to stay at home and "do our own thing". This year I operated from "Studio B" on a dresser in the spare bedroom because "Studio A" has become full of Vintage AM gear. First time using the DX-60-B on CW and it performed flawlessly. Many of the ops I worked were near my age and had started in Ham Radio when they were 14 like myself. All had good "fists" and nice to hear so many older rigs come alive again! The QST is from 1941, the year of my birth.
