11/09/2005 | KN7T First time back in CW SS in a number of years. Decided to go the QRP route this time around using an FT-817 and a trap dipole for 80-10 meters. 15 meters was open all weekend which was nice for a change. You definitely have to adopt a different contest strategy when running QRP (S&P) and that took a little adjustment since I normally operate in SOLP and it's easier to hold a run frequency doing that. Better antennas are definitely in order and I hope to have that addressed before next year's SS. -- KN7T
