09/21/2005 | W8FR Well, my meager station setup took advantage of the situation this year and with 186 QSO's and 68 multipliers, I turned-in my best score! Many thanks to all of you with good ears!

I use a TS-2000 barefoot, and feed an MFJ 3el lt. wt. Yagi; Cushcraft 10 el on 144; Cuscraft 11 el on 432... Had great productivity in 3-banding most of the non-6m QSO's; 432/144/50...

The opening on 6m Sunday/Monday really did the trick this year with 45 multipliers; 143 QSO's... The East hill at Blue Mountain (~600asl) was good for me... Sorry, I missed several notables... If they had been there, it would have been a super contest!
