This was my very first 10ghz contest, and what a contest it was! The Northern Colorado crew was very organized and had an amazing fleet of rovers. Having 14,000' antenna structures didn't hurt our effort either. The first weekend I spent both days roving in the eastern plains. There are virtually no trees, nice clear shot to the mountains. The second weekend I spent atop Pikes Peak at 14,110' asl, which is where most of my points came from. We had a handful of rovers that made 20+ stops both days, they really made the difference. My point total is 38,665 with 283 qso's, not bad for a first effort!
