08/04/2005 | ZK1IR I went out to the South Cook Islands for the contest and had a great time with 80watts and my G5RV. I had over 1300 contacts and about 150 for the contest as condition were very hard at times and the bands were more active between 80,40,20mtrs but I just about gave up on 40mtr as it was my best band to the southAmerican Priates on our bands.
