07/12/2005 | I1/K2LEO IARU HF 2004 was my very first contest. So this is my second year in IARU HF. I operated with a Kenwood TS-440S and an Elecraft K2/100 + Writelog software. I managed to make only 64 QSOs (low power SSB) because propagation was quite poor here, especially on Sunday;
10m and 15m were much worst then last year.

Great fun anyway! I like to search for HQ stations and it was great to work several ham friends operating at SN0HQ, PA6HQ, GB5HQ.

We had a good opening to USA on 20m Saturday evening (UTC).
It was a surprise to hear K2LE (very similar callsign), he was laughing too when I called him!
