Noble and Steuben county radio amateurs to participate.

June 2005 Its an emergency communications exercise, social event and introduction to a hobby all wrapped up in just over 24 hours. Its Amateur Radio Field Day, and it will take place in at least two northeast Indiana locations starting Saturday afternoon.
The 21 Repeater Group and Kendallville Contesters Amateur Radio Society will set up a temporary radio station at the Bixler Lake Park campground with operations beginning at 1 p-m.
Steuben County amateur radio operators will set up their Field Day site at the southeast corner of Commons Park at the pavilion next to the cemetery. It will also begins operations at 1 p-m.
The goal is to contact as many other stations as possible during the period using temporary stations and emergency power. Many of the Field Day sites across the country will also introduce newcomers to the hobby of ham radio through special GOTA stations, which stands for Get On The Air.


Both The 21 Repeater Group and the Kendallville Contestors would like to thank Tim Murray and WTHD Thunder Country for there participation in this years Field Day.
