07/26/2005 | VE5MA Again the Moose Jaw Amateur Radio Club has had a succesful Field day. 8 members were able to participate in the event. There were the usual problems, as in the WX being unpredictable[ we live in the Prairies after all ]. Other problems included an antenna tuner that was intermittent, and a generator [BRAND NEW HONDA , "0" HRS] That was U/S right out of the box. But thanks to Sasktel, they loaned us one of thier gensets [THANKS]. Other than that, everything went very well, lots of contacts were made, thanks to lewis-VE5LWS who made i think the most of the contacts, with Karen VE5OHM riding shotgun.
