07/24/2005 | WB4GNA The Calhoun County Amateur Radio Association had its 2005 Field Day at the Calhoun County Civil Defense Building. We had 58 people turn out to our event this year. We did demos of APRS and satellite Communications and plenty of HF communications. We did listen to the International Space Station on its early sunday morning 6 degree pass.
We used the club callsign of WB4GNA and we operated 6-F-AL.We had a great time with plenty of food and drinks with a record crowd that exceeded our expections. We are already planning next years Field Day.
We ended up with a total score of 1,730. -- AI4EA
