07/17/2005 | W4DW The Raleigh Amateur Radio Society, www.rars.org, goes out big for field day every year. This year we were a 7A operation with about 30 participants and tons of fun were had by all. The bands were generally in good condition, the weather cooperated no afternoon storms and the food was great! 2005 was one of the best ever! Many thanks to Jim, N4CAE and Beth KF4QMR Carroll for hosting the site on their property and thanks to our field day chairman, Neal Fisher, N4HAF, for organizing another great one!
