07/11/2005 | WR4MG The Middle GA Radio Associtation once again held the FD at the Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins. This was the first time since they finished the building so we had to keep a tight ship.

Our operations were 4A with 1 GOTA station. Mike, AF4HS, was our digital operator this year until he discovered broken cable. We have been holding radio classes lately and it was great to see new hams arrive and be very excited to get on HF some. We had many visitors this year. Old Hams that we have'nt seen for a long time and even the ARRL GA Section Manager, AF4FO.

All in all our operations went better this year than in the past I think. We had FD Network software running on 5 wireless laptops and it performed VERY well! We used Winlink for the first time in the field this year and it performed VERY well.
