07/04/2005 | KR4M The Lancaster (SC) County Amateur Radio Club once again held its FD exercise at the local Farmer's Market using generator power. About 20+ plus ops showed up and held forth for 22.5 hrs. Led by K4WJR and KE4COH, the CW station this year posted 500 QSOs. The SSB station had a few annoying antenna problems but was ably operated by KI4BBQ, Tara, Amber (our 3 < 18 yrs ops), KG4TVV, W4JMY, KA4SAW, KI4IKB, N4WMB, and others. KE4PYV (thanks for the boom lift!), N4RKG, AK4N, N4DDZ, and KG4OTY were a big help with setup and logging. KR4M did a little SSB and plenty of CW on Sunday AM. WX was very nice and cool.
